Oh my holy sweet bejeebus.
modcloth.com is amazing. I love the clothes. I want to marry the clothes. I want to rape the clothes.
Okay, maybe not the latter since that means I'll actually end up destroying the masterpieces, but you surely must understand how awesome my love for this indie/vintage online clothing store is. And so, since pictures of clothes I like are taking up room on my computer, I'm going to start shoving them in my livejournal. I had plans to turn this into an anime blog, but what the heck, nobody's honestly going to read it.

A live action drama of Cowboy BeBop has been confirmed, to be handled by 20th Century Fox.
I never saw the Dragonball movie, mainly because I didn't care too much for it. I didn't watch the anime (I should probably get around to it), but listening to people who did, they said the movie adaptation was complete shizz. ("Bulma has blue hair. Not brown hair. They are making a movie called DragonBALL, if they think anyone is going to think it's lame if the love interest has blue hair, it's too damn late.")
Peter Craig, a crime novelist, will be writing the script. I've actually got a good feeling about him, I read an interview with him and he seems genuinely passionate about the project. And he seems to know his Cowboy BeBop pretty well. You can read the interview here.
It's always good to be on the safe side though, and luckily there are people out there who don't want to see a classic like Cowboy BeBop ruined like Dragonball Z was. Sunrise Anime Studio is going to oversee the script and according to Kenji Uchida, the chairman:
"If the script is terrible, the live-action film adaptation will not be approved."
I will marry this man. And then we will have otaku babies and buy a house with rooms dedicated to manga and a huge flat screen TV for watching anime-
Oh, and it's been confirmed.

Keanu Reeves is playing Spike Spiegel.
I actually think he'd do a good job, and he looks the part. But I know there are a lot of people worried that he's not lively enough, he's too stoic, etc. He's stupidly passionate about Cowboy BeBop though and has been talking about wanting to play Spike for a while- I'd rather him do it that some other person who doesn't care at all for the series.
But what do you think?

I'm beginning to think my pessimistic english teacher was on to something when she said our year would probably do terribly in the GCSEs. Study leave is incredibly unproductive, according to youtube, I've watched over fifty videos in the past two days, written twenty pages worth of story material and I've played just under 40 hours of Suikoden Tierkreis. I should probably study or something.
Maybe later.
JJ suggested we have a video game marathon once GCSEs are over (8 more, 8 more, just 8 more-) and because of that, I've started looking at Kingdom Hearts fanfiction again. I swear on my R4, Axel and Roxas are meant to be.
In case you were interested, here are the best ones I've found that make all that wasted study time worth it:
Burning Bridges by A Spot of Bother - akuroku, very well written
Cancer Cells by L.H. BagHead - oneshot akuroku that made me bawl like a baby
gin and sin by archy the cockroach - dark akuroku that is so controversial in all the right ways =)
My Girlfriend, Who Lives in Canada by Quillslinger - akuroku
Heaven's Light by Mad-TopHat-Ter - AU akuroku, and no it's not a high school fic
Special Discount by Blue Funk - akuroku
Snowball Melting by Dualism - rikusora
It's kind of depressing that I've found all these in the past five days. Goodbye A*s and Cambridge. Not that I wanted to go to Cambridge or anything, but it's nice to think that I could qualify (har har). As you can see, most of them are akuroku and I am a shameless yaoi fangirl.
Back to the writing side of things. I'm halfway through the newest chapter of Say and halfway through a spur of the moment AxelXSora called memories of somebody-. I'll probably update in a week, since I'm on a writing high at the moment.
Who needs organic chemistry, anyways?
I don't actually like bleach that much, but I didn't like how boring the default layout was. It was kind of depressing. Gack. I'll hunt down a nicer one later, but it's 1:40 in the morning and I can't be bothered to think straight. =S
I'll write something else tomorrow. Something that's probably fanfiction related.
Yeah.
Uh huh.
Arrgh, I get incoherent when I'm tired. NIGHTY NIGHT! =)
